RIMEC Srl, Passive mobilization since 1987
In keeping with a production reconversion project, in 1987 Rimec turned its production to the electromedical equipment sector, or more precisely, to the production of machines designed for passive rehabilitation.
Rimec is making a name for itself worldwide in this sector, and it competes with multinational companies that cover the entire spectrum of health products.
It approaches the market by taking part in the sector's most important international trade show events, and is present at specialist physicians' conventions, during which the company's production faces up to the judgement of the world of science.
Notwithstanding the short amount of time that has elapsed since the company entered this market, it is present in all of the EU countries, as well as Switzerlan - Algeria - Sri Lanka – Mauritius – Bieloruss – Croatia – Russia – Turkey – Egypt – Morocco – Tunisia – South Africa – Kenya – Israel – Palestine – Lebanon – Syria – Jordan – Kuwait – Iran – Iraq – Saudi Arabia – Qatar – Bahrain – the United Arab Emirates – India – Thailand – Malaysia – Indonesia – Singapore – Taiwan – Australia – Korea – Japan – China – Hong Kong – Brunei – Brazil.
Today the company is recognised as one of the most highly qualified manufacturers of passive rehabilitation equipment (CPM). In 1997 it put an extremely innovative rehabilitator for passive movement of upper limb articulations on the market, and this has place the company at the top of the market segment it addresses in terms of quality. The range expanded in 2005 with a new model for shoulder mobilization.
Completing the range of Rimec products are equipment designed for plaster rooms and orthopaedic casualty departments, such as an oscillating saw for removing plaster casts, an aspirator for plaster cast saws, and a battery-operated drill for inserting Kirschner wires.
